INTRODUCTION JOHN RADCLIFFE HOSPITAL (JR) UK is a large tertiary teaching hospital in Oxford, England UK. It forms part of OXFORD UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL (OUH) NHS Foundation Trust. It's the main teaching hospital for the University of Oxford and Oxford Brookes University. It also serves as a major trauma center and a major accident and emergency site for Oxfordshire. JOHN RADCLIFFE HOSPITAL provides acute medical and surgical services including trauma, intensive care and cardiothoracic services. It is situated in Headington, about three miles east of Oxford city centre.
